The residents at the Shared Home are able to bathe, dress, and care for their personal needs with minimal assistance. They are able to walk to the dining room for meals and activities without assistance, other than a walker or a cane. Retaining their own physicians is encouraged as well as having regular checkups. Since nursing care is not provided, all residents need to be medically stable. If needed, residents are able to have visiting nurse services, the same as individuals would have in their own home. Living at the Shared Home provides an opportunity for seniors to live in a home environment without the worries that come with being a homeowner. ​

Personal laundry is done by staff members on an individual basis.

A visiting hairdresser is available for a nominal charge.
